Known Errors and how to solve such problems :

If you got an error - please send me a mail: qstart@futurecrew.de

Please correct me when I'm wrong !!!

Quake don't starts with the choosen startmap when a  "Config" is used ?!

This problem is easy to solve :
All files given to Quake ( or Quake 2 ) with the command "+exec ...", must have a CR ( Enter ) after the last line, because otherwise Quake combines the last order in the file with the next following command in the commandline !!!
So  : Simply add a CR at the end of the last line in all file you use with "+exec ... " !!!

Junk in the commandline !!! ( up to version 2.0 - will be solverd in the next release !!! )

If you delete all the settings in one or more sections of the "Settings-Menu"  ( e.g. no switches in the section "Others" ) it could happen that Q-Start adds the text "There are no options in the section "Others" ( or something like this ) to the commandline !!!

So, please leave at least one option in every section ( OpenGL , Voodoo, Others ) !

The old bug with the playername!

Everyone, who wrote a playername in the multiplayer-setting of Q-Start ( less V 1.9 ) must go to this menu and leave it ( this causes Q-Start to save all options ). Afterwards the playername is saved correctly in the file qstart.scr !
